Return and exchange

If you regret a purchase and want to return an item, you must register your return on our return portal at the latest 30 days after you have received your order. After that you have 30 days to send the package back.

We offer free return shipping if you choose to get a refund in the form of a gift card instead of a refund, or if you want to exchange the item for a different size.

You can return your order using DHL Connect for 14,99 EUR.

30 days right of withdrawal

You have a full right of withdrawal 30 days from the day you receive your package. We only require that the goods have not been used. You of course have the opportunity to try on the goods, but you must always make sure that the product's tags remain on the clothes, just like when you try on clothes in a physical store.

Expect up to 14 days return processing.
NOTE: We enclose a delivery note with all orders. It is a receipt for what is in the package - it is not a return label.

How to return

  1. Go to the return portal: https://app.peakwms.com/portal/butler-loftet
  2. Log in with your order number (remember to write #DK front) and postal code.
  3. Select the item(s) you wish to return.
  4. Select reason for return and then desired action.
    See the "Exchange" section further down if you wish to exchange for a different size or variant.

You have 14 days right of return from the day you receive your order. The goods can only be returned in original packaging and in unused/same condition as on receipt.

The item must always be sent back in proper packaging. Always remember to get a receipt for the shipment, as you are responsible for the package until it is delivered to us.

Condition of the item

You must return the item in unused condition and with original tags and packaging. If the item has lost value because it has been used in a way other than what was necessary to determine the nature, quality and characteristics of the item, this may constitute a decrease in value for which you are liable.

When footwear is returned to us, the shoebox must also be in its original condition. This means that the shoe box is returned in the same condition as on receipt and e.g. must not be used as shipping packaging. If this is not observed and the shoe box is damaged upon receipt, it is considered a damaged item, as we no longer have the option to sell it again. We cannot therefore approve the return of the footwear.

Can I send a return without using the return portal?

You are also always welcome to send returns to our address in Nørresundby with a return label that you have bought yourself at a post office or a drop-off point. Remember that the package must always be sent directly to our address as a business package with distribution – and therefore not to a package shop. If the return package is delivered to a parcel shop, it is not possible for us to collect it.

The item must always be sent back in proper packaging. Remember to also get a receipt for the shipment, as you are responsible for the package until it is delivered to us.

Return of gifts

Have you bought a present?

Remember to save the original packaging and your invoice so that the recipient can use this in the event of a return. When the return has been processed, the refund is made to the account with which the order was placed. We are unable to transfer the amount to another account.

Have you received a gift?

If you have received a gift but wish to return it, you must still log in to the return portal and log in with the order number and the email in which the order was ordered (remember #DK in front of the order number).

You can then write your own email and have a label-less code, QR code or return label sent to you. Using the return portal, you can choose to have the amount paid out as a gift card. If you choose to get the money back, the refund will be made to the account with which the order was placed. We are unable to transfer the amount to another account.

Sale items

You can return goods purchased on the website within 30 days, as long as they are returned in the same condition as when you received them - even if the item was purchased on sale. Follow the guide above to create a return via the return portal.

Exchange

Using the return portal, you can create an exchange order if you want a different size or variant. You simply choose “Change to another size/variant” and then the desired size. If the desired size is marked in grey, it is not in stock and therefore cannot be selected.

If you want a different color or style, you send the order back to us as usual and place a new order at butler-loftet.com. This way, you ensure that the item is not sold out while we receive and process your return package.

Please note that we have up to 14 days processing time from when we receive the return package. However, longer processing times may occur in connection with sales or special occasions.

What do I do if the item is no longer on offer?

If the product has increased in price after the return, please contact our customer service with the order number of your reorder. Then we are happy to post-credit the difference to you. Note that the item in the new order must be the same model and color - only the size must vary.

Money back

If you want to get a refund for an item, you must choose “Money back” under “Desired Action”. In the event of an error, we will of course refund the return shipping.

You will typically be able to see the refund within 3–5 business days. If it takes longer, you are of course welcome to contact our customer service and we will find a solution together.

On the return portal, you can also choose to have the amount paid out as a gift card.

Can I return items from different orders together?

No, unfortunately you cannot send several orders in the same package, as this could affect the compensation if the package were to disappear.

Complaint

If you have received an item with a fault, we will be happy to help start a complaint case in collaboration with the brand in question. In order for us to process your complaint as best as possible, please send an email with your order number, a description and pictures that clearly show the error.

You then wait for our complaints department to assess the complaint, and you will then be contacted by email with a decision. All complaints are forwarded to the relevant company that produced the item, and therefore the processing time may vary.

The right of complaint does not include self-inflicted damage caused by incorrect use or normal wear and tear. If you want to complain about an item, you must contact us within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error.

If it is a matter of shipping damage, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible in any case support@butler-loftet.com and save the damaged shipping packaging.
